  • DAY 1: MARRAKESH

    Welcoming at the airport by a member of AzulAventuras’Team. Transfer to a charming Riad: Riad Oriontale or Riad Bahia Salam. Located 5 minutes walking distance from the enigmatic D’Jemaa El Fna square, a famous meeting point of people of Marrakesh, where snake charmers, dancers, storytellers and seers create a unique atmosphere. Walk around the Plaza and free dinner at one of the many typical Moroccan meal stalls. Overnight and next day breakfast in Riad Bahia Salam or Riad Oriontale.

  • DAY 2: MARRAKESH – AIT BENHADDOU – OUARZAZATE

    After breakfast in the Riad we head to the South on our 4×4 vehicle. We drive over the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi N’tichka mountain pass (2,600 m) up to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a beautiful walled medina that served as military defense and where several internationally known movies were filmed, such as Obelix, Gladiator, and Sahara… Lunch on your own. Continue our way to Ouarzazate. Upon arrival and leaving the luggage, you can relax or go to visit Taourirt Kasbah. Overnight, dinner and next day breakfast in Riad Darchamaa.

  • DAY 3: OUARZAZATE – TAZARINE – MERZOUGA

    Breakfast in the Riad. On our 4×4 vehicle, we head to Draa Valley, a fluvial oasis where more than 150 km. of palms are grown in line creating a spectacular contrast with the desert landscape. Pass through the Bedouin town of Rissani, old economic capital and first imperial city of Morocco, with its many Ksours, fortified citadels, and its great souk under the red arches. Arrival in Merzouga, Erg Chebbi dunes. Overnight, dinner and next day breakfast in Auberge du Sud hotel facing the dunes.

  • DAY 4: MERZOUGA – ERG CHEBBI

    Get ahead with the sunrise to gaze at the incredible sun rising spectacle over the sand sea from the Great Dune. Breakfast in the hotel and beginning of a new desert day with breathtaking landscapes sightseeing: the oasis of Merzouga, the village of Khamlia (known as ‘black people’ village) where we will have the opportunity to listen to their typical Gnawa music, the ruins of the French fortress of Mifis, nomads in haimas and the town and oasis of Tissardmine. Arrival to the Kasbah Atlas du Sable hostel where our 4×4 will be changed by ‘8×8’ dromedaries. Go over dunes by camel trek until reaching the haimas camp in the very depths of the desert. Magical dinner with kettle drums music and Berber songs. Unforgettable night under stars hearing the silence of the desert.

  • DAY 5: MERZOUGA – TODRA – DADES

    Way back to the hotel in the early morning. After a shower and a great breakfast we will leave for the spectacular Todra Gorges and then for the Dades Gorges. These are two amazing canyons formed by miles of huge rugged mountains reaching 300 meters high, with narrow gorges of just 2 meters wide. Overnight, dinner next day breakfast in Auberge Chez Pierre in Dades Valley.

  • DAY 6: DADES – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKESH

    After breakfast, continue along the Valley of Roses up to the M’Gouna village. Return to Marrakesh through Ouarzazate. Break for lunch in Tizi N’tichka mountain pass and late afternoon arrival in the red city of Marrakesh. Free time to enjoy of Marrakesh at your leisure. Overnight and next day breakfast in the same Riad of the first day.

  • DAY 7: MARRAKESH – MARRAKESH

    In the morning, free time to visit Marrakesh at your leisure. The red city is Morocco’s center. Enjoy its ancient Medina, colorful souks, the famous D’Jemaa El-Fna square and its day and night continuous entertainment. In addition, there is an amazing heritage: Menara Gardens with the Saadi pavilion next to a large pond, the Koutoubia Mosque (or Booksellers Mosque), whose minaret of Hispano-Moorish style is the symbol of the city, the exceptional Mausoleum of the Saadian princes (XVI century) and the magnificent Bahia Palace (XIX century by artisans from Fes). Also visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa (one of the top must see, XVI century) and the Museum of Marrakesh at Dar M’nebhi Palace (an authentic jewel of Moroccan architecture of the XIX century). Do not forget the Dar Si Said Museum, the Agdal Garden, the Saadian Tombs and the Badi Palaces. Overnight and next day breakfast in the same Riad.

  • DAY 8: MARRAKESH – MARRAKESH

    Transfer to the airport on time.
