From here, we head to Tetuan. Hispano-Moorish city full of charm that offers a mix of cultures without neglecting its role as guardian and showcase of the most beautiful traditions. After a tasty lunch, the day will be devoted to discovering local Andalusi and Arab culture −visit of one cooperative where we will enjoy a sample of their work and products. Continue our way to Oued Laou, a bucolic fishing village along the Mediterranean coast where you will be delighted trying fresh fish and seafood. In the afternoon, transfer to Chefchaouen, a hidden blue village set against the greenness of the Rif Mountains. Time to discover the Medina through its meandering streets, fountains and hammams ─a must see is the Rural Chaouen and its projects of Sustainable Tourism. Morning departure to Fes through Jbala mountains villages. After about 4 hours, arrival in Fes, the oldest of the four named Imperial Cities along with Marrakesh, Meknes and Rabat. Considered the religious and cultural center of the country, its University, famous for the study of Arabic and Islam, turns Fes into a main Moroccan students crossing point.. After breakfast, we offer an optional guided-tour with an official guide. Fes is made up of three areas: Fes-Bali (old walled medina), Fes-Jdid (new medina and Jewish quarter) and the Ville Nouvelle (modern city). After breakfast and check out at 9:00 hrs. we go on our way to visit of Meknes, a relaxed city with fascinating old town and labyrinthine streets. Move on to Volubilis, North Africa best-preserved ancient Roman city located in the foothills of the Mount Zerhoun, UNESCO Heritage Site since 1997. In the afternoon, we go on our way to visit Casablanca, a city of all ages, with a bustling old medina, Art-Deco buildings, contemporary art galleries and one of Africa’s biggest ports. This morning we drive 3 hours to arrive in Marrakesh, a fest for the senses. Transfer to a charming Riad: Riad Oriontale or Riad Bahia Salam. Located 5 minutes walking distance you can find the action-packed D’Jemaa El Fna square, a famous meeting point for the people of Marrakesh, where snake charmers, dancers, storytellers and seers create a unique atmosphere. Go on towards the North along the Atlantic coast up to Larache, a coastal city rarely visited by mass tourism. Visit of the Medina in the heart of the city. We carry on to the bohemian and tourist village of Assilah, on the coast, 46 km to the South from Tangier. Its fifteenth century Portuguese fortifications are impressive and largely remain in a full set. The bright medina painted in white, indigo and emerald colors offers a unique visual experience.
